Know your repeater's status at a glance with a 5K Rackmount Cabinet option. The cabinet may be retrofitted to any 5K controller without soldering or rewiring, and offers the high quality and precise engineering users have come to expect from S-COM.

Good Looking and Practical Hardware

The 5K Rackmount Cabinet sports a clean, new look created by an attractive black front panel, white graphics, and the use of hidden fasteners eliminating unsightly screw heads and other hardware.
The space-saving design is only 1-3/4" (1U) high and mounts in a standard 19" rack.
A conductive, irridite-plated chassis reduces RFI and houses the 5K board, the Display Board, and an option Digital Audio Delay Module.
The cabinet provides cutouts for the 5K's power and input/output connectors, and uses PEM fasteners to eliminate troublesome nuts and standoffs.
A ribbon cable assembly -- attaches to connectors located on both the 5K and Display Boards -- makes installation a snap.

Bright and Informative LEDs

Large, deep red Hewlett-Packard AlGaAs LED lamps inform the viewer of important circuit status data. There are LEDS for Repeater Receiver COR (RX), Repeater Transmitter PTT (TX), Repeater Receiver CTCSS Decoder (PL), Control Receiver COR (CT), DTMF Data Validation (DV), Power On (ON), Logic Inputs 1, 2, and 3 (I1, I2, I3), and Logic Outputs 1, 2, and 3 (O1, O2, O3).
In addition, these new LEDs feature high light output while consuming only 1 milliampere each, making this a practical display even for 5Ks at battery-operated sites.
